Suzanne is a yoga teacher at the Yoga Shelter and a yoga therapist. There is a quiet power about Suzanne that calms the spirit and touches the soul.

Raised in Chicago, ordained at Hebrew Union College, and formerly the assistant rabbi at Temple Kol Ami, Ariana is the Rabbi at Grosse Pointe Jewish Council, works with people in Detroit, where she is the only rabbi living in the city, sharing her vision of a greener, more just and peaceful world.  Her smile is as warm as the sun and her heart even bigger.

"Wordsmith, yogini, hiker, wife and mom—the order changes with the sun and the seasons"—Debra is an author and blogger whose strength, intelligence, and resilience are matched by her gentleness and spirituality.  Read Debra's full bio (from which the quote above came), and her blog here.

Becky Siden grew up right here in the Metro Detroit area. She became a social worker and a yoga and meditation teacher, working at Yoga Shelter for many years, and now at Citizen Yoga in Royal Oak. When Becky listens to you, you feel heard in a way that is rare. She is never too busy to stop and exchange a smile and a greeting. She inspires her students at every moment both to know their personal limits and to stretch to their personal edge.

Lori Lichtman's vibrancy and joy radiate straight from her heart to the heart of everyone she meets.  A therapist (Psy. D) with the Ann Arbor Center for the Family, she also practices 5Rhythms, a form of moving meditation developed by Gabrielle Roth, and is in the process of becoming a certified 5Rhythms practitioner. Lori's exuberance and warmth are unforgettable.
